Even if we're already married, there's this assumption that we don’t need to talk about sex anymore. That it's okay, all we have to do as a wife is maintain our figure or be pleasurable in the eyes of our husband (so that he won't stray)...

 

But if he does, there's also these self-sabotaging thoughts that maybe we are at fault, that we aren't good enough, we aren't beautiful or sexy anymore, etc. And it's really connected to body image, self-confidence, and how we see ourselves. 

 

We need to start normalizing this conversation without shame and judgment, married or not.
