Patience, Prayer, and Weight Loss

Patience… it’s one of those skills we all want more of, yet don’t really know how to create.

 

It’s also the #1 most important skill when it comes to weight loss. 

 

In church, we’re told to pray for more patients, or simply BE more patient, without any concrete steps as to HOW… other than pray or pray harder. But that’s not helpful. 

 

Don’t get me wrong, prayer is powerful. It’s important and it’s something we’re called to do in the Bible. In fact, 1 Thessalonians tells us to, “pray without ceasing.” But sometimes prayer alone can be… well, passive. 

 

So if you want to truly become more patient in life, let’s pray AND let’s take action. 

 

You first need to identify WHY you’re feeling impatient to begin with… and I guarantee it’s NOT because of your circumstance, but this one sneaky little thing instead…
